BRDM-10 Reporting Name: Grapeshot

The BRDM is considered the most annoying thing on wheels by both SSC and allied forces alike as it is quick, amphibious and can fire it's missiles on the move. Intelligence gleaned from battlefield salvage and other sources has revealed that the BRDM-10's are conventional ICE powered vehicles with a self-reloading missile launcher mounted in a top-mounted turret. It was once thought that the top speed of these vehicles was about sixty five miles per hour however the liberation of the Falklands and battles in the Caribbean have proven they are indeed faster. The agility of these units has caused more then one allied commander to think he or she is being bombarded by groups of missile artillery vehicles or even the infamous MAZ-type heavy missile artillery batteries.

What makes the BRDM-10 so dangerous is it's accuracy while stationary and the fact it is often armed with high-yield thermobaric warheads making it a significant threat to personnel, light-medium vehicles and some structures. These vehicles are also amphibious, and are capable of firing at airborne targets. The only noted weaknesses of these vehicles is their relatively thin armor and limited ammunition. Any significant hit to these vehicles stands a chance of vaporizing the vehicles and their crews with a fatal munitions explosion. Despite the risks BRDM crews are fiercely loyal to their rides no doubt because the alternative is T-18/2 duty. It is likely that the BRDM crews have a better chance of survival in their volatile rides then in the alternative.
